Villaggio di Alberto. A brief life, a lasting impact.

When everyone tells you it is impossible, then it will be possible.
A true story,
turned into a home.
Villaggio di Alberto is born from a true, lived experience — one that turned pain into responsibility. It is a place that takes shape from the memory of Alberto Lerza, and from the awareness that even a brief life can leave a lasting impact.
Four doors,
one single home.
Every pillar lives through the others. The young people from the residence cook at the restaurant, the workshops open their spaces to the other services, the summer camp children meet those who live in the Village all year round.
Residential care for minors
There are children who cross seas and borders carrying only their name. Here they find a bed of their own, a slower time, and someone who learns to pronounce it well.
EnterTraining restaurant
Not a pretend workshop. A real restaurant, open to the public, where the young people of the residence learn a profession by serving real people, on real time.
EnterInclusive workshops
Spaces open to those who usually stay out: people with disabilities, lonely elders, young people of the residence, children from the neighbourhood.
EnterSummer camp in kindness
So that the children of this area grow up knowing that a kind word is not weakness. It is the strongest thing we have.
EnterFive verbs,
one single direction.
The Village is not a sum of services; it is a living ecosystem. These are the verbs that hold it together — the everyday actions that give the project its meaning.
- Welcome
- A steady home for those who have none.
- Care
- To accompany, to the last breath, with presence.
- Educate
- To shape trades, relationships, values.
- Include
- Difference as richness, not as limit.
- Give back
- Dignity and future to those who have lost them.
The Village
does not exist yet.
It exists as a project, as a shared idea, as a responsibility we have chosen to take on. To build it truly, one stone at a time, we are looking for those who want to be part of it from the start: people, foundations, institutional partners, bodies who believe it is worth the try.
The first one to say «I am here» does not support an idea: they bring it into the world.
The data of those we welcome
never leaves the Village.
The educational files of the young people and the Village's sensitive data live on a small server locked inside our walls. Encrypted. Never reachable from the internet. Not even by us, except on the local network and with strong authentication.
This is not a technical choice: it is a promise we make before welcoming anyone. Here, technology serves care — never the other way around.
