The Summer Camp of kindness.
So that the children of this area grow up knowing that a kind word is not weakness. It is the strongest thing we have.
Eight summer weeks, open to all children aged 6 to 13 from the area, for a symbolic fee and with free places guaranteed for families in difficulty. Enrolments open from March, until full. The programme is not a car park. It is built around a simple idea: kindness is a skill that can be trained. Cooperative activities, encounters with the Village's guests, hands-on workshops, outdoor games, stories told under the olive trees. Trained educators, low ratios, lunches prepared in the training restaurant: the children eat what the older youths have cooked. It is the Village meeting itself.
