Kindness is learned with the hands.
Spaces open to those who usually stay out: people with disabilities, lonely elders, young people of the residence, children from the neighbourhood.
Four workshops active year-round: visual arts, music and song, wood and ceramics, vegetable and medicinal garden. No prerequisite, no level. Whoever arrives finds materials, time, and someone who can teach without hurrying. The workshops are not 'by category'. A child from the summer camp may sit next to an elder from the neighbourhood and a young person from the residence. That is where the important thing happens: mutual recognition. The objects born in the workshops are used in the Village (ceramics for the restaurant, herbs for the kitchen) or sold in support of the project. Every gesture becomes useful to someone.
